Professional Development

Professional development of ICC Members and ICCF Partners is a strategic goal of the Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to providing opportunities in support of the goal through scholarships, continuing education, and recognition.

Scholarships

The Foundation maintains numerous scholarships that are available to ICC Members, ICC Family Members, ICCF Partners, and select members of the public. Each scholarship has unique eligibility requirements, administrative guidelines, and selection criteria. The Foundation currently has the following scholarships:

BSLA

The International Code Council (ICC) and International Code Council Foundation (ICCF) will begin efforts to recognize “building safety professionals” and those leaders in the building safety and related fields (building officials, engineers, innovators, lifetime proponents of safety initiatives) throughout the world for bringing much-deserved attention to their individual contributions.

Building Science Research Initiatives

The Foundation believes that independent research initiatives that address knowledge gaps in building technology and building codes are essential. ICCF will establish a research fund to distribute to academic and other appropriate institutions.
